There are many ways you can support the CCSF. Here are just a few ideas. For more information please contact us at contact@cdncsf.com.

Clothing Donation Bins

The Canadian Community Support Foundation’s primary source of funding is through clothing donation boxes. By donating your unwanted clean, dry, odourless clothing and other textiles, you are helping support our community efforts. Our bins are fully liability insured and are meticulously maintained.

What You Can Donate

Basically any type of textile can be donated, provided it is clean, dry and odourless:

  • Clothing
  • Purses
  • Belts
  • Linens
  • Shoes
  • Boots
  • Drapery
  • Reading Glasses

We DO NOT accept furniture, appliances, household items, paint, garbage or hazardous materials.

Our bins are easy to identify – they are a distinctive green colour with our proud Canadian Maple Leaf logo in plain view:

Food and Clothing Drives

Host a food or clothing drive at your school, workplace or community centre! There are lots of ways to make it fun, for example, offering a prize for the person who donates the most. You can collect food or clothing in exchange for admission to special events or for casual dress days. Schools can organize by classroom, and businesses by departments to compete for prizes. Be creative, and most importantly, have fun while doing something good for your community!

Contact us for more information about hosting your own food or clothing drive.

Clothing Donation Program

One of the easiest ways you can support CCSF is to place one of our clothing donation bins on your property or place of business. Our clothing recycling program is a great way to support CCSF year-round, and you’ll also be doing good for the environment, by keeping used clothing out of landfills.

It’s really easy to get involved in our Clothing Donation Program, and it’s at no cost to you! All we need is your permission to place a clothing bin on your property. Our clothing collection partner ensures the bins are kept spotlessly clean and are collected regularly. They assume all costs and responsibility for bin maintenance and each bin is fully insured.
